Internship Opportunities 

Australian Museum Science Communication Unit 

The Science Communication Unit at the Australian Museum is currently
seeking interns to work on the following projects: 

Bugwise for Schools 

Work with Australian Museum educators and scientists to develop
biodiversity monitoring tools for schools audiences based on the
collections at the Australian Museum. 

Science of Sound 

Work with Australian Museum project staff and external scientists and
communicators on the development and delivery of a special event 'The
Science of Sound'. 

Online projects and photo archive 

Working on the Australian Museum's new website and using the Image
Management System, you will prepare and create materials that support
our projects by representing what we do online. 

Criteria 

                        Undertaking a degree in Science, Science
Communication or Museum Studies 

                        Excellent communication skills 

                        Excellent organisational abilities 

                        Good knowledge of web and multi-media 

                        Interest in Australian Museum collections and
education
