Human drivers a thing of the past? Cooperative driverless vehicles ready to
roll

Details of what is believed to be the world's first on-road demonstration
of cooperative driverless vehicle technology will be released tomorrow
(Wednesday, 29th January). The technology enables driverless vehicles to
undertake everyday driving manoeuvres in collaboration with each other,
independently of humans. It was developed by Griffith University
(Queensland, Australia) researchers and was tested in collaboration with
researchers in France.

VISUAL / PHOTOS: Video footage of the vehicle tests undertaken in France
