STUDENT JOURNALISM PRIZE - Year 10-12 students are encouraged to enter the
$10,000 GRDC Eureka School Prize for agricultural journalism, awarded to the
best newspaper article related to grain growing, farm succession or rural
community development.
Entries, written as factual newspaper articles and between 800-1000 words,
close May 13.
GRDC Communications Manager Vic Dobos said the prize is intended to help
students discover the grains industry, focusing on technological changes and
developments impacting on the economic and social health of rural
