 BarCamp Canberra (www.barcampcanberra.org) is a free one-day
 'user-generated' conference operating on a not-for-profit basis.
The event brings together professionals from a wide range of disciplines
give adhoc presentations on topics such as social innovation, Gov 2.0,
technical development, science communication, critical thinking,
 sustainability and the environment.
The event is part of a global network of BarCamps, with over 800 having
held in over 350 cities around the world over the last five years.
BarCamp Canberra is now in its 4th year and has generally attracted
 attendees throughout the event.
This year BarCamp Canberra has a brand new venue in the ANU's College of
Business and Economics, which will allow us to have more attendees and

on any topic, allowing for wide-ranging discussions and unique
BarCamp Canberra is a free event. Food and drinks are provided on the
thanks to our generous sponsors. There are even rumours of post-barcamp
 drinks covered by another sponsor....
