"No future on a dead river"

Tuesday 10th April, 5.30 pm at the Adelaide Town Hall

Right now, the development of the first ever national plan for the
Murray-Darling provides a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to
permanently restore the river to health. The draft Plan, that is
currently out for public comment, fails the key tests for a healthy
river.

Come along to hear from our leaders and have your say!

Speakers:

- Hon Jay Weatherill, South Australian Premier
- Peter Owen, South Australian of the Year (Environment)
- Richard Kingsford, Director, Australian Wetlands and Rivers Centre, UNSW

Federal MPs:

- Senator Simon Birmingham
- Hon Tony Burke, Minister for Environment
- Hon Kate Ellis, Member for Adelaide
- Senator Sarah Hanson-Young
- Senator Nick Xenophon

Join us for drinks and conversations after the meeting.

Hosted by:
- Conservation Council of South Australia
- The Wilderness Society
- Australian Conservation Foundation

We expect this to be heavily attended, so please book online here:
