[ASC-media] Free WA event: ECU Natural Sciences seminar May 31, mine pit lake rehab

Greetings, Science Fans!
The next speaker in our free Seminar Series is Associate Professor Mark Lund, from right here in ECU's School of Natural Sciences, this Friday May 31 at 3.30pm in room 19.141 (Building 19 of our Joondalup campus, map available upon request).
A/Prof Lund will speak about the aquatic ecology of mine pit lakes - the deep water-filled voids left by open cut mining, often containing acids and metals - plus their eventual rehabilitation.
No need to register attendance, but a courtesy message to (08) 6304 5116 would be appreciated for catering/venue purposes.
